Job Description

HVAC Service Manager

Columbus, GA
Starting Salary: $85,000 (Based on Experience)
Commission Opportunities + Monthly Vehicle Allowance

About the Role:

A leading commercial mechanical contractor is seeking a results-oriented HVAC Service Manager to lead service operations in the Columbus, GA area. In this role, you'll manage technicians and support staff, drive customer satisfaction, ensure safety compliance, and support the growth and profitability of the service department.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily field operations and uphold company safety protocols
Hire, train, and mentor HVAC technicians and administrative team
Manage scheduling, dispatch, and job quality control
Build and maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated concerns
Track department performance metrics and implement process improvements
Optimize resources and ensure profitability across service contracts

Qualifications:

3+ years of HVAC management or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and service workflows
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service dispatch software
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
Valid driver's license (occasional travel required)
State HVAC license(s) preferred

Additional Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally climb ladders
Comfortable conducting job site visits in outdoor/mechanical environments
Highly organized and self-motivated
