We are seeking a high-impact HVAC Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale our residential sales performance. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, improving close rates, and developing a team of top-performing Comfort Advisors and Selling Technicians.
This is not a “ride-along only” role. This is a results-driven leadership position focused on:
Building a world-class sales culture
Driving consistent, high-quality installs (not just transactions)
Coaching technicians to confidently sell premium solutions over price-based decisions
The ideal candidate is a player-coach who has personally closed high-ticket HVAC systems and can teach others to do the same at scale.

Responsibilities:
What Will You Do?
Sales Leadership & Performance
Own and drive HVAC revenue performance and sales KPIs
Monitor and improve:
Close rate
Average ticket
Gross margin
Lead conversion
Implement and enforce a structured, repeatable sales process
Coaching & Development
Conduct ride-alongs with technicians and Comfort Advisors
Provide **real-time coaching on:
Objection handling
Value-based selling
In-home presentation skills**
Develop and lead weekly sales training sessions
Build a bench of future sales leaders
Training & Systems
Design and implement sales playbooks, scripts, and training programs
Train technicians on:
Transitioning from service to sales
Presenting financing and total cost of ownership
Communicating system value vs. price
Ensure consistency across all sales interactions
Recruiting & Team Building
Recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier sales talent
Build a culture of accountability, competition, and growth
Partner with leadership to ensure proper staffing levels
Customer Experience
Support resolution of high-level customer concerns
Ensure sales team delivers a professional, consultative experience
Reinforce company reputation through ethical, high-quality selling
Operational Alignment
Collaborate with Service, Install, and Dispatch teams
Ensure smooth handoff from sale to install
Align sales strategy with operational capacity and goals
Qualifications:
Do I Have What It Takes?
5+ years of experience in residential sales (required)
Proven track record of closing high-ticket HVAC systems (preferred)
Experience leading or coaching sales teams or technicians (required)
Strong understanding of:
In-home sales process
Financing strategies
Customer psychology and objection handling
Experience training Selling Technicians / Comfort Advisors (preferred)
Knowledge of ServiceTitan or similar CRM (preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) (a plus)
NATE certification or HVAC licensing (a plus)
