What you’ll do

  • Conduct routine maintenance to keep chiller systems running reliably and efficiently.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot existing equipment to pinpoint performance issues and faults.
  • Repair or replace failed parts and components to return systems to service.
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems, including: refrigerant handling, instrumentation, control valves, motors, motor controls, motor switch gear, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s), soft-starts, pumps, exchangers, filter, and refrigeration controllers.
  • Uphold company and industry safety standards on every job.
  • Position may require working up to 15% (no more than 300 hours) overtime throughout the year, as directed by the client and/or upper management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Three years of related experience preferred.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Comfort with prolonged periods in a stationary position.
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders.
  • Ability to transport up to 50 pounds at a time.
