HVAC Quality Control Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10-hour shifts (40+ hours with overtime)
Shift Options: As early as 6:00 AM start or rotating shift (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

This role is ideal for professionals with a strong HVAC background who are passionate about quality, compliance, and ensuring systems meet performance standards. Your expertise will directly impact product reliability and overall operational success.
What You’ll Do:
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.
- Perform routine quality inspections and audits across production processes.
- Conduct walkthroughs to identify issues and ensure quality standards are met.
- Track and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve quality concerns.
- Maintain detailed documentation, audit records, and reporting.
- Provide feedback and guidance to improve consistency and performance.
What You Bring:
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
- At least 2+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- HVAC technical training or vocational education is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to climb ladders and access equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
