- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a residential setting
- Inspect HVAC systems and their components to ensure they are functioning properly
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs
- Design and install new HVAC systems in residential buildings
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects
- Follow safety protocols and regulations when working on HVAC systems
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience as an HVAC technician
- Valid driver's license
- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces
