Job Description:

• Installs, inspects, maintains, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
• Maintains and applies current knowledge of steam distribution piping, valves, chilled and hot water reheat systems, and Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV operation.
• Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages.
• Prepares preventive maintenance schedule and produces reports.
• Identifies equipment needs, parts, and supplies, and maintains adequate inventory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of hospital Mechanical systems and all components of the system.
• Trouble shooting skills for HVAC equipment
• Cutting, brazing, soldering various ferrous materials
• Running, splicing, connecting, testing, troubleshooting electrical circuits associated with HVAC equipment

Education:

• High School/equivalent grad or 5+ years experience [Required]
