HVAC Service Lead – Step into leadership
Existing clients already asking for HVAC support. Genuine pathway into leadership and management.
* Help shape the HVAC division as it grows
* Backed from day one - work alongside directors & a supportive crew
* Clear progression into future management ($140K-$160K+)
Most HVAC service roles are reactive.
Another van. Another phone. Another pile of breakdowns.
This one gives you the chance to build something properly instead of inheriting someone else's problems.
A long-established Victorian refrigeration and mechanical services business (operating since the 1980s, 80 staff, $40M+ turnover) has built a strong reputation across commercial and industrial facilities.
Their refrigeration division runs like a well-oiled machine. Now their existing clients are asking them to take on HVAC service and maintenance work too.
The demand is already there. This isn't a startup gamble. The clients, relationships and workload already exist - and they're bringing on another HVAC tech alongside this role, so you won't be building this solo.
They need the right person to help build the HVAC division properly.
The progression path is already mapped out:
Lead Technician Service Lead HVAC Division Manager
Not "maybe one day." An actual plan.
$55-$60/hr depending on experience, moving to a salaried package ($140K-$160K+) as you step into management. No ceiling and no vague talk - this pathway exists because client demand is already there.
Why This Role Is Different
You won't be doing this on your own. You'll work closely with directors and staff who already support these clients.
You're shaping a new HVAC service division, working with clients who already trust the business. As the division grows, you'll have genuine influence on systems, standards and team structure.
Direct access to senior decision-makers from day one.
This suits someone who naturally steps up when something needs doing, not someone who waits to be pushed.
