Requirements:
Four- year college degree is preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience designing HVAC systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
Must be knowledgeable of Bentley Microstation.
Duties:
The candidate’s experience should include a broad range of completed projects related specifically to the MEP consultancy field of HVAC engineering.
Project experience should include design of central plant (cooling/heating) systems, design of air handling and hydraulic systems, specification writing, scheduling, and selecting major equipment, automatic temperature controls system design and specification, cooling/heating load calculations and shop drawing review.
The candidate will be part of the mechanical design team on a large Amtrak project.
The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to our clients.
