HVAC Account Representative (Base Salary | Relationship-Focused Role)

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC professional to join our growing marketing and pre-construction team in a relationship-driven, base salary role—no commission required. This is a great opportunity for someone with HVAC sales experience who enjoys working with clients, supporting projects early on, and being part of a collaborative team without the pressure of commission-based income.

In this role, you’ll be involved from the early stages of commercial HVAC projects, working closely with general contractors, owners, developers, franchisees, and mechanical partners. You’ll play a key part in shaping proposals, managing communication, and helping move projects from concept to award.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as a main point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships in the HVAC and construction space
  • Review and manage incoming project opportunities, entering details into Salesforce
  • Connect with clients to understand project scope, timelines, and goals
  • Gather drawings, specs, and equipment details to support accurate proposals
  • Prepare and send proposals aligned with bid requirements and deadlines
  • Track proposal activity, follow up with clients, and maintain detailed records
  • Help guide projects through early stages and coordinate internal handoffs once awarded
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on project and pipeline activity

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales, HVAC systems, or commercial construction
  • Strong understanding of bids, proposals, and project flow within the industry
  • Someone who enjoys client interaction and relationship-building (not transactional sales)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
