HVAC Account Manager

Position Summary
The HVAC Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while managing service agreements, project opportunities, and overall client satisfaction. This role serves as the primary point of contact for commercial and/or residential customers, helping drive revenue growth through maintenance agreements, system upgrades, repairs, and replacement opportunities.
The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, sales-minded, and knowledgeable in HVAC operations and service processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with HVAC customers
  • Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for additional services or equipment upgrades
  • Generate and follow up on leads for service agreements, repairs, replacements, and retrofit projects
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and service agreement renewals
  • Coordinate with dispatchers, technicians, and project managers to ensure excellent customer service
  • Conduct site visits and customer meetings as needed
  • Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within CRM software
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Assist with collections and invoice follow-up when necessary
  • Maintain knowledge of HVAC systems, indoor air quality products, and energy-efficient solutions
  • Represent the company professionally and uphold company core values
Qualifications
  • Previous HVAC, construction, mechanical, or service industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sales and customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with computers, email, and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • HVAC technical knowledge is a plus
