Overview
At Larimer County Department of Human Services, we strive to be responsive, provide timely resources in partnership with our community so individuals and families are healthy, supported, and safe. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic staff member to join our Benefits and Community Support (BCS) Division as a Training Specialist!
The Training Specialist develops, provides, and coordinates new and ongoing trainings for all public assistance programs (SNAP, cash programs, Medicaid) coordinated by the Benefits and Community Support Division.
Please note: Two (2) years experience in a directly related field including one (1) year of experience equivalent to that of an Community Support Specialist II or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities in a Human Services program is required to be considered for this position.
This position is a Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM hybrid position, typically with four days remote and one day in-office. During training and at certain times afterward, more in-office days can be required. There are occasional weeks when being in the office is needed beyond the normal schedule. Larimer County provides a one-time remote work stipend to assist with equipment and office supply needs for remote workspaces. Three professional references with valid contact information are required for submission as part of this application.

Position will be located at one of the following three locations: 1501 Blue Spruce Drive, Fort Collins, CO 2555 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins, CO 200 Peridot Avenue, Loveland, CO
