The Chawanakee Unified School District is located in eastern Madera County and spans approximately 867 square miles, extending from the foothills just 15 minutes from Woodward Park and near Madera Ranchos to the Sierra National Forest. Chawanakee Unified serves students in transitional kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade. Job Summary
Maintains employee files, both paper and in database systems, maintains district website for the Human Resources Department, ensures collection and maintenance of compliance items and reporting related to Human Resources and personnel. Supports Human Resources functions to meet the district goals and provides support to the Superintendent or designee. Will received direction from Superintendent or designee. Start Date: July 1, 2026 Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day

Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor degree in related field preferred or any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented with human resources course work. Three years of progressively responsible experience in an office setting. Valid CA Driver License. Fingerprint clearance and pre-employment physical is required upon offer of employment. Upon hire must submit proof of negative TB.
