Position Overview

The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Human Resources Systems Administrator in the Department of Human Resources. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.

Under general direction, serves as project lead managing the City's enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) and related learning and performance management platforms; leads and supports technology initiatives, system enhancements, and modernization projects that enhance various Human Resources systems and functions; and performs related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a skilled HR Systems Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of our enterprise learning management system (Cornerstone), along with associated learning and performance platforms and integrations. This role will lead and support end-to-end technology initiatives and modernization projects aimed at enhancing various Human Resources systems and functions.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary Range of $80,250.18 - $120,375.26 Annually; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidates qualifications as well as internal equity*

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, computer science, human resources, or training and instructional design, or a closely related field
  • Three (3) years of full-time experience in project management and designing, updating, and overseeing the daily administration of key LMS and HR systems
  • Experience in project management, including development and delivery of eLearning courses, learning paths, curricula, tests, performance evaluations, training and development plans, and a variety of learning materials
  • Note: An equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered
  • Desirable: Experience with HRIS/LMS integrations (e.g., PeopleSoft) is strongly preferred
  • Desirable: Experience supporting enterprise-wide learning programs and tool integrations across diverse functions
  • Desirable: UX/UI design experience
  • Desirable: Project management skills leading HR technology initiatives with diverse teams
