Position Summery
The HR Supervisor supports the execution of human resources strategies and day-to-day operations for the business unit. This role partners with leadership and Corporate HR to drive talent management, employee engagement, benefits, compliance, and HR excellence, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
People Management
· Support the development and day-to-day guidance of HR team members.
· Assist in conducting performance reviews and tracking team goals aligned with Corporate HR initiatives.
· Ensure team members receive appropriate training and development to effectively support HR programs.
Talent Management
· Support and help execute the talent acquisition process, including hiring and retention efforts.
· Partner with Corporate HR to build relationships with local communities and recruiting sources.
· Assist in the implementation of talent development, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
· Handle day-to-day employee relations matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
· Support training and development activities for employees and leaders.
HR Excellence
· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to support a positive workplace culture.
· Assist in tracking and reporting HR metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
Engagement and Influence
· Promote company core values: Integrity, Respect, Quality, Safety, and Stewardship.
· Support employee engagement initiatives, including planning and execution of engagement activities.
· Foster positive employee relations through proactive communication and fair application of policies.
· Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees on HR-related matters.
Strategic Support
· Support leadership team initiatives by contributing HR insights and recommendations.
· Assist in analyzing HR trends and metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
· Help implement organizational changes and cultural initiatives.
· Partner with leadership on workforce planning efforts.
HR Operations & Delivery
· Execute HR processes including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance activities.
· Support administration of compensation, benefits, leave of absence, and employee programs.
· Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution as needed.
· Promote and support the use of HR systems, tools, and shared services.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
· 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively and influence at multiple levels of the organization.
· Proven ability to take ownership of work with a sense of urgency, enthusiasm, commitment, and persistence in the face of obstacles or adversity
· Basic understanding of state and federal HR laws
