HR Specialist
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

LHH is seeking an HR Specialist to support a dynamic Human Resources team. This role will provide support across multiple HR functions including payroll, benefits, workforce management, and employee support. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and experience working within HR systems such as Workday.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-touch customer service to employees and managers via phone, email, and case management systems
Serve as first point of contact for HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries
Process employee transactions in HRIS (Workday) including hires, terminations, pay changes, and leave of absence
Administer and support employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, etc.)
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
Troubleshoot HR-related issues and determine appropriate resolution or escalation
Support payroll processing and related inquiries
Identify and recommend process improvements
Document all interactions and ensure timely follow-up with employees
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
0-3 years of HR, payroll, or benefits experience
Experience working in HRIS systems (Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Strong customer service or call center experience preferred
Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Experience
HR Shared Services or centralized HR support experience
Experience supporting benefits administration or payroll processes
