WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain accurate employee records, assist in digitizing and organizing departmental records, and complete weekly HR reports.
• Receive, review, and process all non-licensed employee requests for leaves of absence.
• Process unemployment claims and assist with unemployment appeals.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documentation as requested.
• Assist with administration of employee benefits programs and oversee the benefits email.
• Facilitate annual open enrollment and benefit enrollment for new employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two or more years of Human Resources experience required; experience in a school district or public sector environment preferred.
• Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of employee benefits administration, leave administration, and Human Resources practices.
• Working knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, and applicable employment regulations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday
• 8 hours per day

SALARY:

• $70,000 - $78,000

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position, working 261 days per year.
