Client Overview:
Our client is a manufacturing organization seeking a Human Resources Representative to support employee relations, engagement, onboarding, and compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting plant teams, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and employee-focused workplace.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$28/hr

Position Overview:
The Human Resources Representative is passionate about employee support and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role provides administrative and operational HR support, with a major initial project focused on digitizing all physical personnel files and ensuring data accuracy within the company's new management platform. Strong organization, confidentiality, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Representative:
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide responsive, customer-focused support to employees and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company, state, and federal HR and safety regulations.
  • File Digitization: Scan and upload all physical personnel files into the new HR management system.
  • HR Program Support: Assist with HR programs, procedures, and departmental initiatives.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Coordinate and conduct new-hire orientation and prepare new employee files.
  • Employee Requests: Respond to employee questions and provide timely information.
  • Payroll Support: Sort and distribute checks and attach payroll stuffers when needed.
  • Time-Off Coordination: Support plant managers with PTO tracking, vacation calendars, and yearly request distribution.
  • Special Projects: Assist with company events, trainings, postings, benefit enrollment, surveys, and service awards.
  • HRIS Management: Enter new hires, update employee data, and run reports as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow GMPs, HACCP guidelines, and all safety procedures and report concerns immediately.
Required Experience/Skills for the Human Resources Representative:
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret business documents, regulations, and technical materials.
  • Ability to calculate percentages, ratios, and basic algebraic concepts.
  • Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (ADP, Ceridian, Kronos Dimensions are preferred).
  • Strong data-entry accuracy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Human Resources Representative:
  • PHR/SPHR certification is desired but not required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
