To help us continue our mission to advance industrialized construction innovations and products for a safer, more sustainable, and predictable building environment, we are seeking an experienced strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team.

Role Snapshot

As we continue advancing industrialized construction, the Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in developing strong leaders, building high-performing teams, and elevating our culture. In this highly visible role, you'll lead a team of 4-6 HR Business Partners supporting our Northern California locations Woodland, West Sacramento, and Southern California Adelanto locations — driving significant organizational impact and people-centered innovation.

  • Ensure effective consultation and guidance is provided to assigned leadership and employee teams
  • Oversee and support the implementation of Human Resources policies, programs and initiatives to multiple business functions and large client groups
  • Lead and participate in key projects that elevate our talent capabilities
  • Design, implement, and monitor appropriate compliance standards and programs

This role will be required to be on site; relocation support is available.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team that provides human resources guidance to site managers to ensure alignment with corporate business strategies
  • Drive alignment of people, HR processes and policies to support business initiatives and work closely with client group leadership to develop and implement HR solutions to ensure alignment to business strategy and successful business results
  • Facilitate performance and development, talent management and succession planning programs including strategic workforce planning and capability assessments
  • Oversee and guide fair, thorough, and compliant employee investigations; identify and proactively address trends to improve organizational health
  • Partner with the business and Human Resources team members to evaluate, review and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing
  • Collaborate with the department management team and union officials to develop, apply, and interpret labor relations policies and practices; monitors implementation of policies concerning wages/hour laws ensuring labor contracts and government regulatory compliance
  • Develop baseline measures of HR processes and policies to build out continuous improvement models and action against same
  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information
  • Coach employees, supervisors and leaders on how to manage employee matters including coaching and development discussions, change management, career pathing, and other talent programs

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated success leading HR teams and delivering strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic, multi-site environment
  • Strong ability to influence, coach, and advise leaders at all levels
  • Experience supporting a large non-exempt workforce (union experience a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressive HRBP experience; or equivalent relevant experience

Compensation

The annualized base pay range for this position is $125,000 USD to $175,000. Offer will be determined based on an individual's qualifications, experience, location and other job-related factors. Base pay is one component of Clark Pacific's Total Rewards program, which is intended to compensate and recognize team members for their contributions to our success.
