LHH is assisting a dynamic and high-performing financial organization with an HR Generalist or HR Administrator who is ready to expand their scope and grow into a future HR leadership role.
This is a hands-on role designed for a high-potential HR professional who thrives in execution today while building the skills, judgment, and business acumen needed to lead in the future.
What You'll Do (Core Ownership):
Manage day-to-day HR operations across benefits, leave administration (FMLA/CFRA), HRIS, and employee lifecycle
Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding initiatives
Assist with performance management and compensation cycles
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Partner on employee relations and provide thoughtful, discreet HR guidance
Identify process improvements and help scale HR programs as the organization evolves
Ideal Profile:
3-5+ years of progressive HR experience (Generalist, HR Ops, or HR Admin stepping up)
Strong foundation in benefits, employee relations, and HR operations
Comfortable being hands-on while learning strategic HR concepts
Demonstrates long-term career ambition in HR leadership
High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong communication skills
Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Designed for someone who wants to progress into an HR Manager/Director role over time
Approachable demeanor with strong employee relationship building
Comes from financial, banking, or small business less than 500 employees.
