Description

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team located in Wheaton, IL. This position is well-suited for someone who has demonstrated experience in recruitment, compensation analysis, employee relations, research, training and development, and HRIS administration. The role will work collaboratively with the HR team and will serve a resource to all employees regarding personnel policies, employment laws, and recruitment.

Compensation

Starting pay: $59,883.00-$72,883.00 annually.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; 1-3 years of related experience in an administrative role
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Must possess a thorough working knowledge of human resources terminology and pertinent federal, state and local regulations. Ability to interpret policies, labor agreements and employment regulations.
  • Skilled in compensation structures, salary survey methodologies, and data interpretation for decision-making.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, HRIS and ATS applications. Ability to maintain records of a confidential and personal nature
