We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist who enjoys balancing people, processes, and problem-solving. If you're passionate about recruiting top talent, supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and partnering with leaders to build an engaged workforce, we'd love to meet you.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the employee lifecycle while helping shape the culture of our Tempe manufacturing facility. The position reports directly to the Vice President of HR.
As our Human Resources Generalist, you'll partner with leaders and employees across the organization to support daily HR operations, including:
Recruit, interview, and hire top talent for manufacturing and support positions
Lead the onboarding experience for new employees from offer acceptance through orientation
Coordinate employee offboarding and separation processes
Process payroll and maintain employee records, pay changes, PTO, and deductions
Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k)
Manage employee leave programs including FMLA and other protected leaves
Maintain accurate HR records while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws
Support employee relations by coaching managers, addressing workplace concerns, and assisting with disciplinary matters
Champion employee engagement, retention initiatives, and company culture
Coordinate safety training and support OSHA compliance, workers' compensation administration, investigations, and Safety Committee activities
Process unemployment claims and appeals
Track key HR metrics including turnover, retention, and employee engagement
Perform additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required
High school diploma or GED
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Two or more years of Human Resources experience
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
Leadership or supervisory experience
Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial workforce is highly preferred.

This position is based on-site in Tempe, Arizona and works closely with employees throughout our manufacturing facility and office. The role requires regular communication with employees, extended periods of sitting and computer work, occasional walking throughout the plant, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.
