The Human Resources Generalist will responsible for administering policies and procedures relating to all phases of human resources activity.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in complianceRecruits, interviews, tests and selects employees to fill vacant positionsPlans and conducts new employee orientationKeeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reportingAssists in daily benefits administration to include enrollments, terminations, changes, employee inquiries and monthly reportsHandles leave administration for designated sitesAdvises management in appropriate resolution of employer relations issuesResponds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programsPrepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separationsProvides monthly departmental reportsSupervision of one HR AssistantSome travel may be required for this positionQualifications REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE3 – 5 years of Human Resources experience required; PHR certification is a plusAbility to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employeesKnowledge of HRIS Human Resource systems, Excel Spreadsheets and Word Processing softwareBilingual (English/Spanish) is preferredAdditional Information COMPENSATIONThe salary range for this position will depend on experience.Attractive benefits package including (medical, dental and vision, 401K)#J-18808-Ljbffr
