A non-profit organization is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Contract / Temp-to-Hire) to support core HR functions, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. This part-time to full-time, onsite role offers $28.00–$30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include fostering a positive workplace culture, implementing HR policies, managing benefits and leave programs, supporting training, assisting with recruitment, handling employee relations and disciplinary actions, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining records, and performing additional duties as needed.

Expectations involve upholding organizational values, maintaining professionalism, working independently and collaboratively, strong communication skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and effective prioritization.

Requirements include at least 3 years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, SHRM certification preferred, and proficiency in HR systems and relationship-building.
