HR Generalist (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our team during an 8-week leave of absence, with the strong possibility of extending into a long-term or temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple HR functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing concerns and supporting conflict resolution
  • Assist with performance management processes and coaching managers
  • Administer employee benefits and respond to related inquiries
  • Process payroll using ADP and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies
  • Foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace environment

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of HR Generalist experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
  • Experience with employee relations and performance management
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
