HR Generalist
Location: Meridian, ID
Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000

Position Overview:
CV Resources is partnering with a growing construction company in Meridian, ID to identify an HR Generalist. This role will support day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on recruiting, employee relations, and policy enforcement. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Director to support a fast-paced, field-driven environment and ensure HR practices are aligned with company goals and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for field and corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and drive efficient hiring processes

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, including coaching managers, addressing concerns, and supporting investigations

  • Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and compliance with employment laws

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the organization

  • Support performance management processes, including documentation and employee coaching

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

  • Assist the HR Director with strategic HR initiatives and special projects

  • Promote a positive and safety-focused workplace culture aligned with construction industry standards


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or a field-based environment

  • Strong experience in recruiting and employee relations

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • High level of discretion and professionalism


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting multi-site or field teams

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems

  • Exposure to safety programs or compliance in construction environments
