Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join their team. As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will be part of the HR support team supporting onboarding, employee records management, training coordination, and HR data administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator

Location: Winn, MI

Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Processing payroll (bi-weekly)
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the site HR team to ensure efficient execution of core HR processes.
  • Support activities related to onboarding, employee records management, and HR data administration.
  • Assist with recruiting logistics including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records to ensure compliance.
  • Support HR reporting and documentation to maintain audit readiness and compliance.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting human resources operations as an intern or HR Assistant, with experience in payroll and timekeeping.
  • High School/GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, management or related field preferred.
  • Payroll experience REQUIRED
  • ADP and HRIS system knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
