Human Resources Benefits Analyst
Full-Time Year Round / At-will Position
2026-27 School Year
Primary Function: The Human Resources Benefits Analyst provides vital operational support to the HR team and serves as the primary benefits and leave administrator for the district. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in benefits administration while serving as a supportive resource for staff, contributing positively to the overall employee experience and district culture.
Qualifications - Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in benefits administration, human resources, or school business operations required.
Demonstrated abilities to work with staff and community members collaboratively.
Experience and skill with computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills preferred), Google Suite, Adobe, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and specialized benefits administration platforms.
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations including FMLA, COBRA, FLSA, EEOC, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Ability to review collective bargaining agreements/employee contract language and accurately apply it to HR policies, benefits, and practices.
Strong understanding of employee compensation/benefits processes and the ability to work in close coordination with the payroll department.
Proactive self-starter with the ability to initiate, prioritize, and efficiently complete tasks with self-direction in a timely manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with staff, administration, and community members.
Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion.
Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail and problem-solving.

Salary: starting at $58,583; commensurate with education and experience.
