JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Human Resources Assistant
Pay Range: $24.00-$27.00 PER HR
Reporting To: Human Resource Manager
Work Type: On-site
POSITION SUMMARY:
Libertana Home Health’s Human Resources Assistant will help to grow the HR department, by assisting the department in all areas of Human Resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must have at least 3 year of experience in Human Resources or a related industry.
- High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Basic understanding of Human Resource Functions.
- Proficient in the use of computers.
- Data entry experience and knowledge of spreadsheets required.
- Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintains personnel database.
- Draft employment verification letters and other HR documentation as needed.
- Handles employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Maintains employee review platform.
- Administers pre-employment paperwork
- Conduct reference checks
- Accurately maintains workflows in our applicant tracking system
- Inputting employees into all the various HR and EMR systems throughout the organization.
- Conducts follow-up calls with new employees at three-week and three-month intervals to assess their onboarding experience.
- Backup to Recruiter.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).
- Close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
