Human Resources Assistant (Contract | Onsite)

This onsite contract role supports the HR team aligned to the Home Health segment, helping deliver key pre-hire and onboarding processes across multiple site locations.

• Coordinate post-employment drug screening
• Manage the background screening process , including clinical licensure review
• Upload and organize onboarding documents in DocumentCloud (I-9s, offer letters, sign-on bonus documentation, etc.)
• Use E-Verify to complete I-9 verification requirements
• Prepare reports/correspondence on the status of pre-hire and onboarding activities; escalate issues to the HR team as needed
• Coordinate communications with new hires and office staff regarding Day 1 actions , including orientation registration
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department as assigned

• Prior experience in an HR assistant, onboarding, credentialing, or administrative support role
• Comfortable handling time-sensitive, compliance-related documentation (I-9/E-Verify, background checks, licensure)
• Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and professional communication skills
• Able to work onsite
