Position Summary

The Human Resources and Safety and Security Project Assistant provides high-level administrative and project management support to two Executive Directors. This role is responsible for the systematic maintenance of district-wide governance documents, including the Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP) manual, Board Policies, and Administrative Guidelines. The Assistant ensures operational compliance and safety readiness through rigorous documentation, complex calendar management, and cross-departmental coordination.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required (Bachelor's preferred) in business, public administration, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of administrative experience in a business or educational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex executive calendars, coordinate meetings/events, and provide high-level administrative and customer service support.
  • Experience drafting professional correspondence, reports, and supporting Board-level processes and documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage and maintain detailed, compliance-driven documentation (e.g., policies, procedures, handbooks) with strong attention to accuracy and formatting.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential personnel information with discretion while supporting HR-related communications and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and complete projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $22.79-$29.97 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, 261 days per year

Paid Time Off:
