Human Resources Generalist (Onsite – San Jose & San Francisco Area)
Location: San Jose & San Francisco, CA (Onsite, with local travel between sites)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: $95,000 – $100,000
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations across multiple onsite locations in the San Jose and San Francisco area . This role partners closely with leadership to drive recruitment, employee relations, and HR programs while ensuring a positive and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding in partnership with Talent Acquisition
Support employee relations, including investigations, performance issues, and policy guidance
Assist with benefits, compensation cycles, performance reviews, and leave management
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with policies and employment laws
Respond to employee inquiries (benefits, payroll support, employment verification, etc.)
Track employee changes (promotions, transfers, pay updates) and support HR reporting
Partner with managers to improve engagement and team effectiveness
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
3+ years of HR experience (generalist preferred)
Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR operations, and employment law
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Bilingual (Spanish or Chinese strongly preferred)
Experience supporting multiple locations or field operations
Additional Details
100% onsite role with regular travel between San Jose and San Francisco locations
May require occasional extended hours based on business needs
