Human Resource Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compensation, compliance, payroll support, and talent development. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compensation, compliance, payroll support, and talent development. This hands-on leadership role partners closely with executive management to ensure HR strategies align with business objectives while maintaining compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
• Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), open enrollment, ACA reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Partner with executive leadership on compensation planning, salary reviews, budgeting, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws, with strong knowledge of California, New York, Texas, New Jersey, and Arizona labor laws.
• Oversee payroll administration, HRIS (Paychex preferred), HR reporting, and personnel records.
• Manage workers' compensation, FMLA, disability, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
• Maintain employee handbooks, job descriptions, performance review programs, and HR policies.
• Coordinate employee training, harassment prevention, and professional development initiatives.
• Serve as the primary HR resource for managers on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws, (we have employees in California, New York, Texas, New Jersey, and Arizona).
• Experience with payroll, benefits administration, workers' compensation, leave management, and HRIS systems (Paychex preferred).
• Working knowledge of OSHA/Cal-OSHA regulations.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $115,000-135,000/yr. depending on experience level
