A leading California Agricultural Company is seeking an Experienced Skilled Human Resource Manager.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall success of the company’s human resource programs related to compliance, recruitment, development and retention of employees. Supports operational goals, coaching and advising management on employment and labor relations and staff development. Selects appropriate methods and techniques for resolving problems.
Previous H.R. experience within the agricultural sector is highly preferred and candidates with such experience will be prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to maintain, improve and oversee all company policies and procedures
- Maintain employee records and assist with compliance.
- Administer benefits programs and assist with employee relations.
- Provide support in performance management and employee engagement
- Facilitates the resolution of employee grievances; counsels’ employees on employment and labor-related issues
- Maintains working knowledge of labor and employment laws, industry trends and effective human resources practices.
Key Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of Agriculture H.R. experience (highly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of H.R. policies, legal compliance and best practices within the agriculture industry
- Proficient in H.R. software and Microsoft Suite
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must currently in California
