Overview:

This is a hybrid role - 2 days remote and 3 days in the Malvern, PA office.

 

The HR Business Partner serves as an advisor and trusted partner to business leaders and teammates, providing guidance across all human resources activities and initiatives. This role delivers core HR programs, supports leaders through effective coaching, and ensures HR practices align with business goals. With a strong focus on day‑to‑day partnership, employee relations, and operational execution, the HR Business Partner plays a key role in shaping an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performing culture. Success in this role requires building strong relationships, driving consistency in HR practices, and working cross‑functionally with leaders, HR team members, and legal partners to support a positive teammate experience.

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations

  • Independently conduct thorough, objective investigations, including root‑cause analysis, risk mitigation, and action planning aligned with company values.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to managers and teammates to resolve workplace issues, strengthen relationships, and minimize legal risk.
  • Educate teammates on company policies, procedures, and expectations to ensure clarity and consistency.

Compliance

  • Interpret, communicate, and enforce compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of wage and hour regulations, compensation requirements, and evolving employment legislation.
  • Ensure timely completion of all employment processes, including workflows, performance reviews, and personnel file maintenance.

Coaching & Development

  • Coach leaders and teammates at all levels on career development, performance management, engagement, compensation, and teammate relations.
  • Provide individualized guidance to managers to strengthen leadership skills and enhance team performance.
  • Drive performance management processes within assigned business units, including support for annual reviews.
  • Facilitate and deliver training programs across key HR functional areas.

Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary HR liaison between headquarters and Divisional Offices, fostering strong partnerships with leaders across the organization.
  • Partner with internal and external legal counsel on employment matters such as complex terminations, subpoenas, and litigation.
  • Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to support hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Lead and contribute to broader HR initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2–4 years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.
  • Experience in a large organization (1000+ employees) preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage HR projects with accuracy and timely execution.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
