Job Title: HR Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)
Location: Cypress Area, Houston, TX
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually + Bonus Opportunity

Position Overview:
Our client, a growing and well-established company in the construction industry, is seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant (English/Spanish) to join their team in the Cypress area. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being involved in all aspects of Human Resources and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to support employees and leadership across multiple HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Assist with onboarding, new hire orientation, and employee paperwork
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy within the HRIS system
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration
- Assist with recruiting efforts including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication
- Help coordinate employee relations matters, policy questions, and HR inquiries
- Track compliance documents, training records, and certifications
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR-related documentation
- Assist with performance review processes and employee engagement initiatives
- Support special HR projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Human Resources experience required
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Experience with HRIS systems required; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
