Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Shift: 8am-4pm
Compensation:
$26/hour - $28/hour based on experience
Location: Decatur, IL
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize active and terminated colleague files, including sorting through existing files and documents and modifying the existing filing system for HR Records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
- Basic office equipment such as a computer and a scanner.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Some experience in filing functions, preferably in an HR office.
Language Skills:
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English or Spanish.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Other Skills & Abilities:
- Must demonstrate an ability to follow instructions and maintain good organizational skills.
- Must have attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks.
- Must possess computer skills.
- Must be able to work with confidential information.
- Must be a US citizen
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.
