Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking an entry-level and motivated full-time **Human Health and/or Ecological Risk Assessor** to become an integrated member of AECOM’s risk assessment and remediation practices. The employee will report to the **Germantown, MD** office; but may be full-time in office or hybrid, and is expected to begin in Summer 2026. In this role, your responsibilities will include: + Experience with running R software + Support a wide range of projects for private and government clients throughout the U.S. (and internationally). + Perform risk assessments in accordance with regulatory guidance and project-specific work plans. + Collaborate with internal project teams, including delegating to junior staff. + Assist with technical deliverables; including writing reports and performing/reviewing risk assessment calculations. + Develop knowledge of federal and state regulations/guidance documents for conducting risk assessments. + Maintaining work quality, quantity, and efficiency at or above company standards. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, Public Health, Environmental Health or other related areas. + Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. + As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. + Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Relevant years of experience performing human health and/or ecological risk assessments in an environmental consulting setting. + Excellent technical writing and communication skills. + Proficiency with R software, Microsoft Excel and Word. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
