About the Role:

As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor, you will supervise a team responsible for creating and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for clients.

This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. This is an onsite position in Denton, TX with a Monday through Friday work schedule.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in managing HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
  • Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.
  • Support the process for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
  • Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the subject matter expert.
  • Oversee plans, playbooks, and procedures, ensuring they are current, complete, and effectively implemented.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing the quality of services and respond to customer member concerns regarding HSE matters.
  • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members.
  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
  • May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
  • Has a direct impact on team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Guide the team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures and work to build consensus.
  • Work closely with the Denton-based technical and project teams to ensure that all onsite works, installations, and maintenance procedures are strictly adhered to and compliant with Tetra Pak's safety protocols.
  • Regional Point of Contact: Act as the primary HSE subject matter expert (SME) for the North America region, providing guidance and leadership to site teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive the rollout of all regional HSE initiatives, taking full ownership of project timelines and site-level engagement.
  • Monitor and track HSE progress, safety KPIs, and report outcomes to both internal CBRE leadership and the client.
  • Maintain high-level coordination with the project team to ensure HSE is integrated into the full lifecycle of technical projects, from planning through to delivery

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
