About the Team
The HSSE team is responsible of maintaining environmental and safety compliance throughout the facility through program development, training, auditing and driving continuous improvement.
What you can look forward to as HSE Specialist:
+ Assist and support the EHS Supervisor/Manager with the development and implementation of policies, programs and procedures for compliance with EHS requirements of the company and regulatory agencies (local, state/provincial and national).
+ Support site with achievement of EHS objectives and targets.
+ Support in the recognition, evaluation and control of work processes with potential hazard/risk exposures relative to safety and the environment.
+ Conduct initial hazard/risk assessments and re-assessments of operations.
+ Conduct health/safety programs promoting employee wellness.
+ Assist with various EHS related audits and inspections.
+ Support incident investigation and corrective action activities.
+ Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles
Your Profile as HSE Specialist:
+ 0-2+ years of experience in safety compliance.
+ Associates degree is preferred but not required.
+ Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge.
+ English language competency.
