This position contributes to our vision by: • Comply with the financial targets of ebit and working capital savings, through the implementation of effective Lean-Sigma initiatives and improvement projects. • Supports workplace safety, facility operations, and basic security oversight. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, and assists with general office security measures. • Manages the employee improvement suggestion program; • Ensures effectiveness of the Safran + department; • Monitor and support compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards. • Maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance records. • Assist with chemical and waste management as needed. • Coordinate and support emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response activities. • Assist in delivering HSE awareness training programs, risk assessments, safety audits, and monthly safety committee meetings. • Participate in new hire safety and health orientation sessions. • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in HSE standards across all sites. • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans under guidance of HSE leadership. • Regular, predictable attendance is required • Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

At Safran Electrical & Power, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.

Education and/or Experience • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred. • Requires 1+ years manufacturing experience in Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement and Health, Safety and Environment. • Requires 1+ years experience in the aerospace sector, or equivalent experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills • Understanding of OSHA standards and workplace safety best practice • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Effective communication across all levels of the organization • Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong relationships across departments • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to make decisions appropriate to job level and responsibilities • Fluent in English (written and verbal) • Proficiency in MS Office computer applications • Adaptability to changing priorities and emergency situations • Ability to gather and analyze information
