This position is anticipated to teach three (3) sections of Math in Society and three (3) sections of College and Career 2 (junior level).

Position Summary Teacher:
The employee is primarily responsible for effective teaching and learning of the assigned subject(s) following district approved curriculum, instruction and assessment practices. Primary responsibility shall include student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student's readiness to learn including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare. Employee may teach in a variety of elementary and/or secondary educational, individual or team teaching, settings.
Position Summary College & Career:
College & Career is a semester-long course designed to build a strong foundation for students to be successful in high school, on-track for graduation, and prepared for their futures. This course is centered around three main concepts: community building and engagement, personal and academic success, and college and career exploration. By closing knowledge and opportunity gaps, this is a space for students to envision and explore a multitude of career pathways and post-secondary options. Students will be nurtured and guided as they discover their strengths and interests, develop their personalities, and take confident steps towards their goals.

State allocated funds are used to expand the work aligned with our strategic initiatives: to raise graduation rates, ensure equitable practices, remove barriers, and nurture meaningful relationships with all students. License Requirement:
Must hold or be able to obtain Oregon Educator licensure with a Subject Matter Endorsement specific to the content area taught in this position (i.e. must hold biology endorsement if teaching biology).

Salary:
PLEASE NOTE: North Clackamas Schools is negotiating the licensed contract for the 26-27 school year. Below is our Annual Salary Range for the 25-26 school year:
Retirement Plan Contribution:
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; there is also a mandatory employee portion. Upon eligibility, which is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position, the employee is required to contribute 6% as their employee portion, via payroll deduction. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
