High school assistant football coaches are needed for the 2026-27 school year, with positions open until filled.
Responsibilities include:
- Modeling district core values: INCLUSIVITY, INNOVATION, COMMUNITY, INTEGRITY, PASSION
- Supporting the head coach and school administration with roles such as fundraising, trips, transportation, and adherence to district guidelines
- Conducting pre-season parent meetings to communicate expectations, schedules, sportsmanship, safety, and policies
- Teaching and coaching positively and professionally, promoting good sportsmanship
- Ensuring safety of equipment, surfaces, and environment, and monitoring injury management
- Maintaining detailed practice plans, supervising athletes, and following district and KSHSAA rules on eligibility, physicals, and substance policies
