Equine Network's Premier Equisports Group is seeking a detail-driven HR & Payroll Specialist (Seasonal Contract) to support our fast-paced show season from April through October. This part-time, 1099 role averages 20+ hours per week and plays a key role in both payroll execution and employee support across multiple groups.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys blending payroll accuracy with HR partnership-supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
What you'll do
Manage weekly payroll processing for multiple groups, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion
Serve as a key point of contact for employee payroll questions, providing clear, professional support
Review timekeeping, earnings, and deductions with a focus on both accuracy and employee impact
Enter, update, and audit employee and payroll data within iSolved HCM
Partner with managers and team leads to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation
Support onboarding and worker classification processes (1099 vs. employee considerations)
Maintain organized, compliant payroll and employee records
Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and HR-related administrative projects as needed
What you bring
Prior payroll experience (required), with exposure to HR processes strongly preferred
Working knowledge of iSolved HCM (highly preferred)
Understanding of payroll compliance and worker classification (1099 vs. W-2)
Strong communication skills with a service-oriented, employee-focused approach
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable working independently in a remote, seasonal contract role
