Are you an organized, people-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? A growing organization in the Southwest Houston area is seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator to support a high-volume hiring and onboarding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a smooth, welcoming experience for new employees while keeping processes organized and compliant behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance through start date
  • Track and facilitate background checks, employment verifications, occupational screenings, and onboarding documentation
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, onboarding packets, and HR-related communications
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, answering questions and providing onboarding support
  • Monitor HR systems and follow up on incomplete paperwork or onboarding tasks
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to ensure a seamless hiring experience
  • Assist with special HR projects, team meetings, and additional administrative support as needed 

What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, onboarding, recruiting support, or HR administration
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, or onboarding platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous experience in healthcare, corporate services, or high-volume environments is a plus 

Preferred Qualifications
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus
  • Experience supporting large onboarding initiatives or employee orientation programs preferred

Additional Details
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Long-term temporary opportunity with potential for extension
  • Pre-employment screenings required, including background check and drug screening
