We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to serve as the sole HR leader for a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Suffolk County, NY. This individual will lead all aspects of HR, driving a culture of safety, engagement, and high performance while supporting business objectives. 5 days onsite and up to $90K. Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Description
- Establish, communicate, and enforce HR policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Administer payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and employee relations
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture and manage employee relations issues fairly and consistently
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational goals
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent
- Oversee workplace safety programs, including training, incident investigations, and OSHA compliance
- Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends and improve decision-making and organizational effectiveness
Profile
- Proven experience in a broad, standalone HR role within manufacturing, logistics, or a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
- Experience managing workplace safety programs, including OSHA logs and safety training initiatives
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, ideally ADP Workforce Now
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
