Human Resources Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead the day-to-day HR functions while serving as a trusted partner to leadership and employees. This role is responsible for overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and HR policies and programs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation.
Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
Oversee performance review processes and support employee development initiatives.
Manage compensation administration, salary benchmarking, and annual merit review processes.
Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports related to turnover, hiring, headcount, and other key performance indicators.
Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee data, timekeeping, and compensation changes.
Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
Stay informed of employment law updates and HR best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience in an HR Generalist or HR Manager capacity.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, and OSHA regulations.
Experience managing employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and benefits administration.
Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
