Quanex is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Molalla, Oregon. In this role, you will support employees and management by being responsible for leave administration, employee relations, employee engagement, documentation, recruitment support and general office duties.

Salary: $64,000 - $95,000 annually, with bonus potential

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours may vary depending on business needs and will be discussed during the interview.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Manage daily interactions with Team Members supporting inquiries and needs related to their employment (benefits, leaves, etc.)
  • Create and maintain various HR analytic reports
  • Manage hiring process and onboarding for new hires
  • Assist with employee training and development initiatives
  • Lead and participate in several employee engagement events
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and laws
  • Possess initiative to improve processes and have a customer service-oriented mindset

Your Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of education
  • PHR/HRCI certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred
  • Experience working with Oregon state employment laws
  • Strong skills using MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential information
