Qualifications & Requirements
• Associate’s degree in a related field required
• Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience required
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
• Experience supporting multi-location and multi-state employers preferred
• Strong understanding of HR processes, onboarding, and employee relations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
• Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee employee onboarding processes including I-9 audits, E-Verify, drug screens, and HRIS/payroll system setup
• Support branches with day-to-day Human Resources functions and policy guidance
• Assist with recruitment activities including requisition management and Applicant Tracking System support
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters
• Assist with communication and distribution of HR information across multiple branch locations
• Support internal and external HR/payroll audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Conduct HR research and assist with implementation of HR best practices
• Support wellness initiatives and employee communication programs
• Assist with workers’ compensation reporting, case management, and unemployment claims
• Support employee benefits administration and employee relations initiatives
• Assist in planning special projects, meetings, and employee events
• Uphold all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards
