Job Title: HR Department Coordinator
Location: Remote (tied to 2700 Gateway Oaks Drive, Sacramento, CA)
Schedule: Remote | Day shift (8/40) | 6 month assignment | Non-clinica


Job Description:
Provides administrative and clerical support to a non-clinical HR unit within a healthcare organization. Responsibilities include managing and prioritizing incoming requests, coordinating documentation, supporting departmental workflows, and ensuring timely communication with staff and providers. Maintains compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to privacy and data handling. Supports daily operations through scheduling, data entry, and document management. May assist with onboarding and orienting new team members. This role requires strong organization, independent work capability in a remote setting, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:
  • 2 years experience in administrative or clerical support within HR or healthcare setting
  • Experience with prioritizing high-volume requests and managing competing deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations (HIPAA or similar)
  • Experience with data entry, document management, and general administrative workflows
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Must Have:
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday or similar HCM platforms
  • Experience supporting a healthcare organization or large enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with onboarding or orienting new staff
  • Experience supporting physician relations or provider services teams
  • Proficiency in process improvement or workflow coordination
  • Experience working in a matrixed or corporate support structure
