Human Resources Coordinator
$25 - 28.84/hr, based on experience
Temp-to-hire | Waterbury, CT | 40 hours, first shift

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, applicant tracking, candidate coordination, and participation in job fairs/recruitment events
  • Coordinate onboarding processes including background checks, drug screenings, HRIS setup, welcome packets, and new hire documentation
  • Conduct new hire orientations and provide ongoing support/training to hiring managers
  • Maintain personnel files and employee records, ensuring compliance, organization, confidentiality, and audit readiness
  • Support benefits administration including enrollments and employee inquiries
  • Assist with employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, investigations, and policy communication
  • Generate employment-related reports and assist with employee engagement, retention initiatives, and HR projects
  • Serve as backup support for payroll processing functions
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and internal procedures

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience with strong exposure to recruiting and onboarding
